Total Warrior Swing or Swim obstacle supported by Veritas scaffold structures

Total Warrior case study

Five years building obstacles against the clock.

Adult and junior course structures delivered at Bramham Park through changing ground conditions, unpredictable weather and one fixed opening date.

Project overview

An annual event programme built on trust and repeat delivery.

For the last five years, Veritas has returned to Bramham Park to construct scaffold-based obstacles for both the main Total Warrior course and the Junior Warrior course. Each year brings a fresh site build, a hard deadline and a programme that cannot simply move because of poor weather.

01

The challenge

Obstacle structures are spread across a large outdoor course with uneven ground, woodland, open fields and water interfaces. Every structure must be ready before participants arrive, regardless of the conditions during the build.

02

The solution

Veritas provides tube-and-fitting structures, boarded decks, ramps, platforms and obstacle support frames adapted to each location and course requirement, including separate structures for adult and junior participants.

03

The programme

The team spends approximately two weeks constructing the obstacles before the event, followed by around one week dismantling them. Labour, materials and site movement are coordinated around the immovable event deadline.

Repeat event delivery

Built to perform on event day—and disappear afterwards.

01

Adult course

Full-scale obstacle structures supporting the main Total Warrior participant route.

02

Junior course

Separate scaffold obstacles planned around the Junior Warrior course and younger participants.

03

All-weather programme

Build sequencing and site logistics adapt around rain, mud and changing ground conditions without losing sight of the opening deadline.

04

Temporary by design

Structures are installed for the live event, then safely dismantled and removed during the following week.

More than a contract

The team gets to experience what it builds.

Each year, the contract includes event tickets for Veritas. Employees and their children use them to take part in the courses—giving the team a rare opportunity to experience the event and the obstacles from the participant side.

What this demonstrates

Long-term event delivery under real programme pressure.

Five consecutive years show Veritas can return to a major event, understand the organiser's requirements and deliver temporary structures reliably against a deadline that cannot move.
