Scaffold access and roof-edge protection supporting the installation of a large commercial solar array.
PROJECT / RENEWABLES / 01
Project overview
Access planned around the roof and installation sequence.
The installation team needed a practical route from ground level to the commercial roof, together with a protected working position along the roof edge. The scaffold arrangement also needed to support efficient movement without obstructing the panel workface.

01
The challenge
Commercial solar programmes bring together roof geometry, material movement, installer access and work at height. A safe access route has to reach the correct workface while allowing the panel layout and installation sequence to continue around it.
02
The solution
Veritas provided a dedicated scaffold route to roof level with a guarded working area at the roof edge. The arrangement created a clear transition onto the workface and collective protection where installers needed to operate around the array.
03
The delivery
The scaffold was coordinated around the commercial building and roof configuration. The completed project photography shows the route from ground level, the protected roof edge and the finished solar-panel installation.

What this demonstrates
One access package supporting the complete solar workface.
Veritas supports commercial arrays, occupied housing programmes and new-build solar work with scaffold access, edge protection and safety netting where required.
